Donate - Making a Difference | Legacies
Leave a Legacy of Independence!
Many of our donors wish to sustain their support even after they are gone, and have left a legacy to the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind in their will. One example of this is a legacy that enabled the center to purchase a new training vehicle to drive trainees and their dogs to nearby cities and towns so that they can practice working in real – life situations. Other donations of various amounts help us in our work of training dogs and matching them with their blind handlers. These donors are deeply appreciated and their names are inscribed on the donors’ wall at the Center and in the Golden Book of the Israel Guide Dog Center.
How will my legacy help?
Many people mistakenly believe that only wealthy persons leave legacies to charities in their wills. In reality, however, most bequests are made by ordinary, hard – working people who care about others and want to make a difference – even after they are gone. Every donation – whether large or small – makes a significant difference and helps us continue our important work of aiding Israelis with blindness or visual disabilities and helping them become integrated into society.
